Description

This sweet task card activity will help your students recognize, sort, and decode digraphs. It may be used as an independent activity, in small groups or as a whole class task.  This activity includes 90 candy cards. Students will choose a small candy card and identify the picture. They will then identify its digraph and place it on the correct digraph jar card.  You could divide your class into six groups to make this game more interactive. Each group receives a jar card with one digraph sound (ch, ck, ng, sh, th, or wh). Place all the candy cards on top of a small table face down and shuffle them. Each group takes turns flipping a candy card. They only keep it if it belongs in their candy jar. The first group to collect 15 candies wins!  This low-prep task card set is sized to fit in the Kmart rainbow photo storage.
