Description

Challenge your students’ critical thinking skills in identifying digraphs using this “Odd One Out” style task card activity.  This activity contains 36 task cards that feature four colourful flowers. Each flower has a set of pictures. To complete the activity, the students must mark the flower that does not belong to the group.   You may also encourage your students to explain why the flower they marked is odd. This will help them explore and analyse words with more complex digraph patterns, including whether it is positioned at the beginning, middle or end.   This activity focuses on the ch, ck, ng, sh, th, and wh digraphs.  This low-prep task card set is sized to fit in the Kmart rainbow photo storage.
