These dinosaurs are a great way to practise number identification and making small collections. To play, simply have your students select a dinosaur, identify the number and then clip on the matching number of pegs. We found mini pegs in our local $2 store. They are a perfect size and get those finger muscles working extra hard! Don't you love squeezing in a little bit of extra fine motor practise wherever possible. For a simple extension, why not have your more capable students create a colour pattern when putting the pegs on. The dinosaurs are numbered 1-20 and are also available in addition to 10.
