Are you looking for a craft that your students can complete during Diwali celebrations? Our Diwali Candle craft is just what you need!

Using the templates provided, students will create a beautiful accordion folded candle craft to commemorate Diwali, the Festival of Lights.

To complete the craft, students will accordion two pages of A3 coloured cardstock to create a circle. They will decorate a candle holder and paper flame to stick to the accordion-folded circle. Once stuck together, students will add a piece of string or ribbon so the completed craft can be hung on the wall or window. Students also have the option to add their own decorations to the candle holder, such as sequins, buttons or pom poms. All instructions and an example of the finished craft are included in the resource.
