Drop & Pop Bubbles
Description
Activities that use the same fine motor muscles needed for handwriting and pencil control are super important in the early years of school. Activities such as threading, using tweezers and water droppers are just some examples of these types of activities.
This resource contains a cute hands-on activity involving the use of water droppers – or pipettes – guaranteed to be a hit with our young learners!
Print and place the mats in a write and wipe sleeve and provide students with droppers and a small amount of water. Make sure the game boards have been wiped completely dry from previous use.
Students use the dropper to collect small amounts of water and carefully drop these onto the bubble shapes. When added slowly and carefully, the water should retain its shape within the bubble.
