Duration of Time LET’S DEFEND
Description
Work together to build and protect a town that is under attack by giant robots. Choose to upgrade the homes within the town and grow the population, strengthen the town walls or actively attack the robots.
Students solve problems related to the duration of time, using ‘am’ and ‘pm’, and converting between different units of time. They will work with a variety of questions that require them to calculate elapsed time and perform conversions between hours, minutes and seconds. Each correct answer helps them strengthen their town and defend it against the attacking robots. The cooperative format encourages teamwork while building fluency with essential time concepts.
