Description
Your students can practise using apostrophes for possession and commas correctly with these editing worksheets.
Three versions of the worksheet are provided. These can either be used to differentiate learning or as a progression. The worksheets start with single sentences and increase in complexity through the use of paragraphs with multiple missing apostrophes and commas. Your students need to edit the texts by adding in the missing punctuation. Each version of the worksheet also requires your students to explain how they know where to put the apostrophes and commas.
When you have decided which version of the worksheet to give to which students, you can print out the number of copies that you require. Handy answer sheets are also provided.
You might find the Possessive Nouns POWERPOINT helpful to use alongside these worksheets.
