Your students can practise using commas correctly with these editing worksheets.
The resource is designed to help your students to use commas for prepositional phrases, lists, to separate a dependent clause from an independent clause and in dialogue.
Three versions of the worksheet are provided. These can either be used to differentiate learning or as a progression. The worksheets start with single sentences and increase in complexity through the use of paragraphs with multiple missing commas. Your students need to edit the texts by adding in the commas. Each version of the worksheet also requires your students to explain how they know where to put the commas.
When you have decided which version of the worksheet to give to which students, you can print out the number of copies that you require. Handy answer sheets are also provided.
