This resource is a perfect way to incorporate some easter fun into your math lessons. Using the plastic eggs available in Kmart/$2 stores, write one half of a ‘friends of ten’ equation onto one of the halves. These can then be displayed in an easter themed basket or play tray. Students choose an egg and copy the number onto the recording sheet and work out what other number is needed to equal 10.
