The Egg Hunt Adventure resource allows students to develop their counting skills while hunting for different coloured Easter eggs. Simply print and hide our Easter egg images around your classroom or play area, ready for your students to find, record and count! To get your students excited about their Egg Hunt Adventure, read the picture book We’re Going on an Egg Hunt by Laura Hughes before commencing this activity.We have included three versions of this resource: counting a collection up to 10, counting a collection up to 20 and counting a collection you choose! Colour and black and white versions have been included.Top Teacher Tips:

1. The recording sheets with grey numbers can be used with Early Years students who would benefit from tracing the numbers rather than writing them or as an answer page.
2. To save ink, print the black and white eggs onto coloured cardstock.
3. Provide each student with a clipboard to lean on.
4. Younger students may benefit from having access to colouring in stations placed throughout the egg hunt rather than carrying crayons with them.
