These printable resources are a great introduction to the Art Element, COLOUR. Students are provided with opportunities to explore and create with enabling sheets to provide support according to student need. The summative activity allows students to display their overall understanding and skill of the Art Element, COLOUR.   An accompanying PowerPoint is also available on our Ultimate membership ‘Elements of Art: Colour DIGITAL’. Students are provided with an introduction to COLOUR theory using the colour wheel, complimentary colours, and warm and cool colours. Within the PowerPoint, students are provided with exemplars as a reference for practise activities. Examples of various artworks are used to provoke student discussion in comparing the use of COLOUR and the artists’ purpose.
