Your students can identify and assess erosion mitigation strategies with these worksheets.

They are provided with images of the different strategies, for example beach nourishment, gabions and contour banks. After they have named them, your students will then need to record information about what they are, how they were invented and their pros and cons.

Two versions of the worksheets are included. One has cloze text for support and the other is blank. When you have decided which version of the worksheets to give to which students, you can print them and begin the activity. Handy answer sheets are also provided.
