Analyse a character and evaluate their effectiveness within a narrative with this worksheet.   Students will complete various evaluations of a particular character before adding an opinion of a particular character.   The activities include:

1. Selecting trait tags that are relevant to the character
2. placing the character on a spectrum between two trait descriptors
3. listing adjectives that relate to the character’s appearance
4. determining how relatable the character was
5. showing how much impact the character had on the overall story.

  There are three versions of the worksheets included in the download. They differ slightly with some sections of the template being changed to better suit students who like an extra challenge by writing their own descriptors for the scaled spectrums.
