Searching for a resource to help your students effectively evaluate information in sources? Look no further! The Evaluating Sources task will enable your students to put their research skills to the test.
Using the Evaluating Sources template, students will compare three sources on the same topic, evaluating their value based on their accuracy, currency and relevance.
It is recommended that students consult a variety of sources, including print and digital options. We have included room for your students to record the name of each source, examples of useful information from the source and a rating out of 5 stars based on its accuracy, currency and relevance.
This versatile resource includes clear explanations of what to look for when evaluating a source and includes two versions: a one-page document that covers all areas and a two-page document with a separate page for notetaking and added room for justifying their evaluation.
