Use this template to accompany student’s artwork.
Each child paints a picture of a place they are familiar with and have visited (beach, park, grocery store, swimming pool, library, Zoo…). Encourage children to include significant and identifiable features and colours in their paintings.
Once finished painting, children use this senses template to fill in what they can see, hear, smell, and feel when visiting their chosen location. You may wish for the students to draw and adults to scribe.
To display, stick the sensors strip to the bottom of each child’s painting.
