Description
This resource provides students with the opportunity to represent composite numbers as a product of their factors. They will find the prime factors of composite numbers using factor tree diagrams.
Students will be scaffolded through the first worksheet with step-by-step instructions, examples and simple composite numbers.
Students can extend themselves on the second worksheet by creating different factor trees for the same number and choosing the own composite number to create factor trees for.
