Support your Foundation students in their Physical Sciences: On the Move unit of work with this fun craft. Are your students learning about spinning or are you looking for a cute craft to display in your classroom? This is the activity for you.

Students will cut and construct a spinning Ferris Wheel using paper and a split pin. Print on coloured cardstock or print on white cardstock and have students colour the pieces; either way, you are going to be left with an engaging and colourful display for your classroom. Photos of student faces (or students could bring photos of people important to them) could be added to each seat as an optional finishing touch.

Not only will this activity look visually stunning, but it will also serve an educational purpose with students able to practise the spinning motion.
