Your students will investigate firework evaporation with this fun activity.

The resource includes an instructions page which provides helpful background information and explains how to simulate firework smoke in jars. Your students will compare the smoke that is produced using hot water and cold water, which will help to demonstrate the processes of evaporation and condensation. They will apply their change of state particle knowledge to decide whether evaporation is a reversible or irreversible change.
