Flip & Find: Mass is a hands-on and engaging game that will challenge your students to consider the mass of different animals in comparison to one another. It is suitable for individuals, partners or small groups.

Students will need to use the images provided and their prior knowledge to consider factors impacting mass to determine if an animal is heavier or lighter than another.

Flip & Find: Mass requires minimal preparation, once the required materials are printed and cut, you’re ready to play. All cutting is straight lines only, so the guillotine can easily be used. Printing the game boards and playing cards on cardstock is recommended for longevity.

Students will need access to counters when playing. Alternatively, the game boards could be placed in a write-and-wipe sleeve, with whiteboard markers being used to mark off the animals.
