Create a unique maths-based Mother’s Day card using this resource. Using a set of 20 triangles students will flip, slide and turn each piece to combine and create a heart. You may like to have your students decorate each triangle or simply print onto coloured paper. This resource includes two templates to stick the completed hearts onto. One reads ‘I love you to pieces’ and the other ‘Happy Mother’s Day’. Each have space for the students to write to and from. Also included is an answer key. You may like to challenge students to create the heart shape without the answer key. Tip: Take your time when cutting out as it is vital that all triangles are the same size.
