This is one of those times you CAN play with your food!

This is a fun, interactive digital game to play with your students to see if they know which foods come from plants and which don’t.

There are thirteen slides on which different foods are shown. Each slide also contains a thumbs-up button and a thumbs-down button.

To get all students involved in the game, get them to show what they think by putting their thumbs up or down. They put their thumb up if they think the food item is part of a plant, and they put their thumb down if they do not think the food is part of a plant. For each slide, choose one student to come up the front and determine if more students have thumbs up or down. They then use the laptop or interactive whiteboard and click on the thumbs up or thumbs down, and it will indicate whether their selection is correct or incorrect.
