Your students can investigate formal measurements with this engaging scavenger hunt.

The activity involves students finding items that equal the same length as the specified measurements on the worksheet and listing them.

Three differentiated versions of the worksheet are available. The first includes six measurements that are all in centimetres. The second version requires eight measurements that are in centimetres and metres. The final version involves ten measurements and three units (centimetres, metres and millimetres).

When you have decided which version of the worksheet to give to which students and gathered the necessary resources, you can simply print the number of copies that you require and begin the activity. Alternatively, your students could work progressively through all three versions of the worksheet.
