This book response task for Gangsta Granny by David Walliams has students planning the heist that Ben and Granny will perform.

Students begin by identifying items that are needed for the plan to succeed and drawing a picture of the White Tower within the Tower of London.

They return to Chapters 17 and 19 to find details regarding the route that Ben and Granny plan to take. They will then draw the route on a map of the Tower of London.

Students will then interpret information regarding a secret laser grid within the Jewel House and plot the lasers on a diagram of the room.
