Description

This activity is designed to accompany a whole class reading of the book Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees.Students listen to a reading of the story and colour in one spot on their giraffe each time they hear one of the key words. At the end of the story, they will be able to visually see how many times each word appears in the story!Choose from four different levelled worksheets, including one version with blank spaces where you or your students can select the words to listen out for. This is great for practising predicting – what words do your students predict will appear, based on the book cover or blurb? This resource is part of the Giraffes Can’t Dance PACKAGE.
