Celebrate the end of your students’ journey through primary school by constructing these time capsule projects that your students can open years in the future!

This download contains the following resources:

1. Time Capsule Labels: Provided in colour and black and white, simply print and attach to a sealable container (such as a box, ziplock bag or jar). Have students write the date on which the time capsule should be opened in the blank space. For larger capsules, you can enlarge the print to A3 size.
2. Checklist: Use this to compile the items needed to fill the time capsule. We’ve provided a pre-written checklist to follow, as well as a blank version for students to design their own capsule contents.
3. All About Me: Now & Then: Students will design a profile of themselves in the present, and a profile of how they hope they will be in the future when the capsule is opened. Two templates are provided for you to choose from.
4. Letter to Future Me: Students will plan and write a letter to their future selves, reminiscing on their treasured memories and identifying their hopes for the future.

This multi-lesson project is the perfect way to cap off the end of the year!
