Use this adorable cactus themed resource during your preparations for Grandparents’ Day!

Students will create a cactus-themed card to give to their grandparents or grandparent figure on Grandparents’ Day. They will add a green handprint to the cover and turn it into a cactus by adding spikes. Either they or their grandparents can add a blooming flower using their fingerprints!

In addition to the printable resource, you will also need to provide coloured card, black permanent markers, green paint or cardstock for the cactus handprints and coloured ink for the blooming flower fingerprints. You may wish to supply craft items for decorating the pots, such as sequins or pom poms and wipes for cleaning hands after adding the ink fingerprints.
