Materials Needed:
- White and coloured A4 cardstock
- Brown cardstock (for handprints)
- Pencils, scissors, glue and coloured markers
- Optional: googly eyes, pom poms, felt, sequins or stickers
How to Use:
- Choose your preferred card version and print the required templates.
- Have students trace their hand on brown card, cut it out and fold the fingers and thumb to form ears and arms.
- Decorate the handprint bear with a face and heart on its tummy – leave arms unglued so they can “hug” the heart.
- Fold a piece of coloured card in half to form the card base. Attach the bear to the front and glue the message template inside.
- Encourage students to personalise their message and decorate the cover for a polished finish.
