Instead of using a traditional classroom jobs chart why not try this approach? One or two children (both versions available) are selected each day to be the handy helpers, they are then responsible for assisting with all classroom jobs.

At the start of the year take a handprint from each child and laminate. Then store them in a box or on a hinged ring and simply return the current helpers hand to the back and choose the new helper from the top of the pile.
