Instead of using a traditional classroom jobs chart, why not try this approach? One child is selected each day to be the handy helper; they are then responsible for assisting with all classroom jobs.

At the start of the year, take a handprint from each child and print on sturdy card. Then store them in a box or on a hinged ring and simply return the current helper's hand to the back and choose the new helper from the top of the pile. Alternatively, create handprints using the templates included in this download.
