A fun, engaging and collaborative activity for Harmony Day! A great way for students to learn about different countries. There are 30 different countries included.

Each page is a two-piece puzzle.

1. Blank flag: students are given the name of a country where they must research, draw and colour the flag. (Teachers may wish to provide flag images to support students)
2. Country Research: students are to find their matching flag puzzle piece to find the name of their country. They then complete the research questions.

Have each student complete one flag piece and one country piece, or mix and match however you need for the ability levels of your students.

The puzzle pieces can then be put together and hung on the wall to create a large display of flags and the matching facts about the country.

To extend further, you may do a gallery walk once the puzzle pieces are displayed so that students can learn about the other countries.

Can be printed on A3 size paper and flags can then be painted during an art lesson as well.
