Support your Year 3 and 4 students in their learning of Health: Interacting with Others, with the Making Games Inclusive Assessment task.Created to coincide with the Years 3 and 4 Health Australian Curriculum, this activity will allow students to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts related to building relationships, valuing diversity and promoting inclusion.Students will consider how to modify a game to include a student with specific needs. They will describe their modified game, explain how the changes make it inclusive, draw a diagram of the game and reflect upon why it is important to be an inclusive person. Six versions of the task (each with a different game and student scenario) have been included, as well as a blank version with optional game and student scenario cards.Teachers can assess this task using the Inclusivity is for Everyone: Making Games Inclusive Assessment Rubric included in this download. A blank version of this document has also been included to cater for both extension and support students as needed.
