As you and your students are exploring the jungle, you come across a friendly monkey that needs help – he lost his 12 bananas while climbing through the trees. To collect each banana, students will first uncover the CVCC or CCVC picture that is hidden behind a pile of leaves. After removing the leaves, they must read the sentence, identify the picture, and answer the question. A banana will pop up once they answer correctly.
