Support your Year 2 students in their learning of HASS: History, with the Turn Back Time Assessment task.

Created to coincide with Year 2 History Australian Curriculum, this activity will provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the concepts related to significant places in the community and how they have changed or remained the same over time.

Students will research a significant place in their local community. They will use the Turn Back Time lift-the-flap task to write and draw about how their chosen place has changed over time and its importance to the community, both in the past and in present day.

Teachers can assess this task using the Turn Back Time Assessment Rubric. A blank version of this document has also been included.
