Homophone Hunt LET’S BUILD
Description
Let’s head to the Robot Factory! In this fun and interactive digital game, students will mix and match various robot body parts as they work their way through a series of engaging multiple-choice questions. Along the way, they’ll practise identifying and correctly spelling high-frequency words and their homophones, using context clues to guide their choices. Each correct answer earns them a new robot part, helping them build a one-of-a-kind robot creation!
This game is a fantastic way to reinforce spelling and vocabulary knowledge in an exciting and hands-on format. By focusing on commonly confused words and high-frequency words, students will develop their ability to choose the correct word based on its meaning and context. Whether they’re learning to tell the difference between their and there, or here and hear, this game helps sharpen their spelling and word recognition skills in a meaningful way.
Let’s Build – Robot Factory can be played as a whole-class activity on an interactive whiteboard, making it perfect for warm-ups or brain breaks, or students can scan the QR code to play independently on their own device.
