Homophone Hunt Worksheets
Description
These worksheets provide four different graphic organisers for studying homophones.
The first worksheet is designed to be used in context when reading. The students need to identify homophones in a text, explain their meaning in the sentence and then provide the other homophone(s) and the meaning(s). It is ideal to use alongside this Homophones in Context: Model Text resource.
The other worksheets in the resource focus on identifying homophones. They are presented in various formats, including one that is alphabetised. Your students could use the worksheets to start to create their own homophone dictionaries.
When you have decided which version of the worksheet you would like to use, you can print out as many copies as you need. You could also use some of the other worksheets during different homophone activities or to help you to differentiate learning.Additional information
