Your students can enjoy sipping on a hot choccy while learning about chemistry with these worksheets.

To begin with, they need to provide instructions and diagrams to show how a hot choccy is made. They then need to label all of the solids, liquids and gases involved in the process.

After putting a marshmallow into their hot choccy, your students then need to explain the chemistry behind what happened.

Three differentiated versions of the worksheet are provided. The level of support decreases throughout. When you have decided which version of the worksheet to give to which students, you can print out the number of copies that you need, ensure that you are aware of any allergies and dietary restrictions and start making a big batch of hot choccy!
