Description

A hands-on activity to support students in learning to compare the length of time it takes to complete familiar activities.There are 2 versions of this activity:·        Sorting using the phrases ‘less time’ and ‘more time’·        Sorting using the phrases ‘shorter’ and ‘longer’A black and white version is also available for individual student use where students could draw their own events.There are 24 cards provided for students to use. Simply print and cut these out.Students take two cards, compare them and then place them on the board to match the duration of time they take.Alternatively, two picture dice are also provided where students can roll the dice then place them on the board to compare the two activities.To construct the dice, print on cardboard then cut them out. Fold along all lines then glue the tabs to assemble.
