Students will design a trap to capture one of Santa's missing elves. We suggest you give your students a small range of items to choose from when building their trap:

1. plastic/paper cups
2. popsticks
3. string
4. pipe cleaners
5. paper plates
6. straws
7. paper clips
8. masking tape

After designing and building their trap, your students can write the directions to make the trap or the steps to use it.
