Celebrate Book Week with your students by reading books that the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) have shortlisted in the Picture Book of the Year category. ‘Iceberg’ by Claire Saxby is one of those books! This resource includes a worksheet that can be used as a follow up to reading the story, as well as 2 blank templates which can be used in any way you’d like for students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. This text could also be used as part of a Geography unit of work to consolidate student’s understanding of climate change and global warming!
