This fun Easter-themed resource encourages students to think imaginatively while practising their descriptive writing and drawing skills.   How to Complete Students will need to consider why they would be a great Easter Bunny! We recommend having them brainstorm different aspects of the Easter Bunny’s job prior to completing the writing portion of the task. To suit the needs of your students, we have included multiple template options. Choose from:

1. Drawing only (suitable for Early Years students or as an art activity)
2. Drawing and writing a descriptive paragraph based on a sentence prompt (in 24mm, 18mm and 14mm line widths)
3. Drawing and writing a descriptive paragraph (in 24mm, 18mm and 14mm line widths).

  Once students have completed the writing aspect of the task, they can either draw themselves as the Easter Bunny, illustrate an Easter scene or glue a photo of themselves dressed in Easter accessories.   To turn this versatile worksheet into an art activity, have students cut out a photo of their face and use craft items, such as felt, pom poms and pipe cleaners to add bunny ears, a nose and whiskers!   Additional Tips

1. Encourage students to use descriptive words and adjectives in their writing.
2. Provide a word bank with Easter-related vocabulary to assist with the writing process.
3. Younger students may benefit from the templates being enlarged to A3.
4. Create an eye-catching display of students’ completed work by hanging them alongside one of our Easter banners!

  Extension Ideas

1. Writing Expansion: Have students turn their ideas into a short story about a day in the life of the Easter Bunny.
2. STEM Connection: Challenge students to design and build a 3D model of the Easter Bunny.
