These Easter eggs are a great way for your students to practise initial sounds.
Each letter of the alphabet is displayed on an egg with a matching initial sound picture. The letter x has 2 options, xylophone and fox.
There are many ways you could choose to use these.
- Use for a literacy display at Easter time.
- Cut the top part of the egg off each image so that students need to match the letter to the picture.
- Keep whole and use with a sensory tray - students to choose an egg and say the sound represented by the letter.
- Use in a tracing set up with students using their fingers to trace in coloured sand or 100's and 1000's.
