Looking for a crafty way to check your students’ recall of addition facts to 10 or 20? You need our colourful Jelly Bean Facts craft! Students will love the process of creating an eye-catching jelly bean jar! Each jar has a target number of either 10 or 20 at the top. Students will partition their number in 6 ways (or more) and write the relevant addition facts on the jelly beans that are glued within the jar. In addition to practising recall of addition facts, this hands-on activity allows students to practise their fine motor skills as they cut and glue their jelly beans in the jar. As well as including detailed instructions and a colourful display banner, this resource also features two options to suit the needs of your class:
