Celebrate Book Week with your students by reading books that the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) have shortlisted in the Picture Book of the Year category. ‘Just One Bee’ by Anthony Bertini and Margrete Lamond is one of those books! This resource includes a worksheet that can be used as a follow up to reading the story, as well as 2 blank templates which can be used in any way you’d like for students to reflect on the story and extend their understanding of the themes within this text. This text could also be used as part of a Science unit of work to consolidate student’s understanding of the effect of bees on the environment, living things or animal habitats!
