Description
Your students can practise their knowledge of place value beyond 10 000 with these fun worksheets.
To start the activity, digits need to be generated. This could be done using an eight-sided dice or using digital tools to randomly select the digits. Your students will then create and compare numbers, add and subtract quantities from them and decide what scenario would most likely have the number of digits.
Three versions of the worksheet are available. They are for 5-, 6- and 7-digit numbers. You could use them to help differentiate learning or as a progression. When you have decided which version of the worksheet to give to which students, you can print the number of copies that you need and begin.
