Students will practise reading simple CVC words when playing this game.   To play, they must read the word on their game board and find the picture to match.   There is one game board per medial sound (short a, e, i, o, and u). The picture is placed in the box above the word.   To simplify the game, you may like to keep each set of pictures in separate bags. For more of a challenge, try mixing the picture cards up!
