Use these worksheets to help your students practise recognising all upper- and lower-case graphemes and to identify a matching initial sound picture.

These worksheets can be completed independently or in an adult lead small group to access guided support. To complete the worksheets, students find matching upper- and lower-case letters and the matching initial sound picture and colour all three in the same colour. Each worksheet includes 6 or 7 letters.

This resource also includes an extended version requiring students to generate their own initial sound word or picture.
