This is a great activity to start the year! It allows you to learn a little more about your students and your students to learn a little more about each other.
Students fill in and decorate the sides of their cube, then fold it into an original, three-dimensional self portrait.
We suggest you make one about yourself so that your students can learn a little bit about you too! This allows them to see the completed activity and get to know your level of expectation for completed work.
You may like to stack the cubes for a 3-D graphing activity (e.g. by number of family members), or use them for an open house or parent night. If you plan on using them for graphing, then we recommend printing them on cardstock for longevity.
Younger students may need their cube enlarged to A3.
