Use this resource to create a cute rainy weather craftivity to display during a unit of work on the weather.

Students will decorate gumboots and a splashy puddle background and display with a fun poem about jumping in puddles.

Why not use a painting technique such as crayon resist and watercolours for the gumboots? Or straw painting for the puddles? A range of art techniques and painting options have been included within the resource instructions. 

You might also like to have students complete a writing task about the types of clothing or activities that are best suited to a rainy day, and display them alongside this art activity.
