Use your knowledge of grid reference systems to map out your classroom!   In this worksheet set, students are tasked with mapping their classroom from a bird’s eye view onto a grid reference system. Using this system, they must then identify the coordinates of key items in the room and create guided instructions to follow paths from one item to another.   Extension versions of the activity replace the grid reference system (A1) with grid coordinates (1, 1) and remove the system entirely, asking students to instead draw their own.   The text on these worksheets is completely EDITABLE, meaning you can alter instructions for differentiation or change the items to be more personalised to your classroom space!
