Mapping the Main Character
Description
Our Mapping the Main Character resource provides students with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the locations of the various settings in their set text.
Students will plot the different locations that the character lives in or visits on the world map and choose which one they feel is the most significant to them. They will write a response that explains their choice.
While this resource can be used with a text of your choice, we recommend using it with a story that takes place in multiple settings, such as Misery Guts by Morris Gleitzman or Boy by Roald Dahl.Additional information
